I agree with Grant! I want everything. sigh…isn’t fall just the loveliest? I just got home from the farmer’s market and I am going to make 2 quiches – one mushroom and leek, the other red pepper and onion. yum yum! have a great week.

Hi Jennifer, I know I’m a bit late in responding to a previous post you wrote where you felt the need to show that your family’s food consumption was more than just “meat and fat”. I wanted to chime in belatedly and tell you how much I love and appreciate your blog. I have been teaching myself to cook since January and your website has featured prominently in my education. I admire your adherence to sustainable meat and fish and poultry and your seasonal and farmer friendly loyalty. I never thought your eating habits were excessive. New readers must understand the difference between good fat and bad, and making the most out of the meat you buy. Your kindness and good heart show through the way that you think about food, which is so evident in your blog. Thank you for teaching me how to cook and how to eat. –An Admiring lurker.

  3. Hi Jenn I love your blog. The photos are spectacular. I have tried some of the recipes and I must say they never disappoint. My husband loves your roasted garlic bean soup. It has become a regular in our home. I have been trying to master a good recipe for biscuits and gravy, but have not been successful. Could you please tell me about your husbands gravy? Would it be possible to give me the recipe?
Hope you are doing well. Many blessings to you and your loved ones.
    Warm Regards Carmen

I like your cutlery. And the food looks great, too, obviously, but I’ve said that before. The cutlery, I hadn’t commented on.
