*GASP* That looks wonderful. Please describe the wines for me. I have never had a vin de pays de Vaucluse.
I hope you know you’ve turned me on to runny eggs. I’ve always HATED over-easy or relatively runny yolks; they have to be completely done. But the way your pictures are, the eggs just look so CREAMY!
So I started eating them that way, and shockingly they’re very appetizing. I crave them now.
Yes, I agree with Greg, please describe the wine. I bet it went well with that lovely gooey brie! And those meatballs look perfect!
Looks good…I like how it’s just pictures! Hehe. Meatballs (I think those are meatballs…right?) look fantastic!
That pasta looks so good right now. As do the eggs, really. Dang.
Recipe…tell me you will tell me your recipe for those faboo meatballs…please?
Hi everyone, and thank you for your comments. I hope to to give more specific responses soon, but one reason for the text-free post today, as well as the delay in responding to you all, is that someone I work closely with has had a major family tragedy. I’ve spent a good chunk of time trying to assist as best I can – so not much time to devote here. Priorities and all – I’m sure you understand.
I’ll get into the wines when I can, but for those of you curious about the spaghetti and meatballs, you can look here for my basic recipe. I used canned organic tomatoes this time in place of the fresh ones, and it still turned out great.
Posting will be likely be light this week – there’s a lot going on that I need to attend to. Please hug your loved ones extra tightly if they’re near, and send them your love if they’re far away. Be well.
I know how tragedy, sudden death, unexpected things can make you reconsider and take time away. much empathy and good wishes to you and those others who are affected.
love your stuff, come back when you can…
Something like this is extremely hard, especially this time of year. Take all the time you need. We’re thinking about you.
Mary
My thoughts are with you and your friend. Take care.
Jennifer, I hope you and all those you love are okay. Or as okay as can be expected in trying times.
Thanks so much, everyone. I’m going to refrain from going into detail for privacy reasons, but your thoughts and prayers have been passed along and are much appreciated.
